Thank You So Much (News & Stuff)
Thank YOU!
You. Yes, you, down there, hiding behind the chair. Thank you.
It's crazy how much I've gotten out there in the last few months, pictures (thank
you!) and stories alike. Before, I was burnt out on writing commissions (sorry!) and I
didn't feel like writing. Then I was burnt out on real life, and didn't feel like writing.
Then I was burnt out on loneliness, and I didn't feel like writing.
Then... well, you can see that I felt like writing again. It's a tremendous weight off
my mind. Got back to all my favorite characters, advanced their plots a little bit,
worked out a lot of details with my as-yet unreleased side projects.
The output is going to slow again for a while, though, just because I've got a lot of
stuff on my plate again. Finishing a side job, selling the old house, buying a new
one, moving, finishing my semester before the end of July and working on my
'straight' stories.
I am still working on these stories, don't worry. Demon Love is progressing nicely,
Amateur Heroics is humming along, Kimmi's resolution is nearing completion. But I
think I've handled the mind-wrecking compulsion writing... for now.
And thank you all for being so wonderful and receptive.

So! These journals never generate a lot of content, so I'm going to talk about a
couple other things now.
- I love the UFC. Does anyone else here watch regularly? Who wants to watch Hendo
clobber the almighty out of Rashad next weekend?
- I just saw Clutch and Orange Goblin in Spokane. Any fans of hard rock and thrash metal?
- I'm working out and losing weight and getting back into fighting shape (I used to
be a competitive martial artist). Does anyone else here train? What style?
- I've never watched Game of Thrones.
- Commissions will re-start after September. Prefence will be given for art trades!
- I love Megas XLR.
Eh, I can't think of much else right now. The new Amber just went up. I'm gonna go for a jog.
Peace!

(Sorry if I botched that quote there...it's been a while since I last saw any Megas XLR)
And count me among the folks who are glad to hear you're feeling better. :)
To talk about the major part of the journal though, I'm glad you're slowly getting back into the swing of things! I loooove your writing.
And it was an awesome show. Watching Orange Goblin is like watching a retired British pro-wrestler front an 80's thrash band, and their GUITARIST is just this little skinny dude, but I swear he was playing rhythm, lead and counterpoint at the same time. One human should not be able to play that much guitar. It blew my mind.
Although I have to read it, I was very pleased to see a new Amber chapter!!
