Anybody new to the series, it's alternate universe canon, no ties to the original canon. Things are different, but are heavily based off of the original canon. It's not a reboot, the original canon still exists, and I'm sure that Konami will rehash another OT CastleVania sooner or later with the success of the Lords of Shadow series, sales-wise.

Okay, that all done, speculation. Still sticking with my theory that either Alucard or the Belmont mentioned by developers (it being modern times, guessing it'd be Julius) killing Gabriel at the end after he takes out Satan for God, thus being God's Ultimate Plan All Along (GUPAA)™. Speculation that the Sister of Light that me and a friend are calling Sister Tits is Carmilla before she Ascended, and the little boy is possibly Malus.

Can't wait for this game, which'll be out Winter sometime. You just don't KNOW I GOt SUCH A FRIGGIN HAR-
