time to start off-roading

Well, after debating for almost a year, I decided to get a toy to go off-roading again. Made a down payment today on a military jeep called an iltis. Hoping to be able to bring it home next week before leaving for AC. I'd have it already if it wasn't for this crappy little town not having more than one bank. Dunno if will be able to use it much this year, but hopefully soon.

I think it was an 85, and a full military re-build in 98 before being placed out of service shortly after due to rust that has since been fixed

Do you plan to do anything to it? Suspension ect?

Was debating lifting it, but that might make it too unstable considering how small it actually is. For now just gonna add more lights, fix the minor things like the tranny leak, and try it out. It already has lockers on it, so might not need much.

Lol, yeah, that would end poorly. Its ok to try to out-run a missile though, right? :-P
