"blank disk" ??????

i have a CD with data on it ( art pack from SpelunkerSal ) but when i pop it into my drive, it reads up as a "Blank disk" and its clear that there is something on the disk.
I have tryed changing the region of my drive, cleaning the drive head, the CD. ive just re installed nero now to see if that help but im left in the dark again.
could any one shed some light on the matter please?

Is it a DVD? If so, does your disk drive have a "DVD" label on it? If not, then it could just be that the drive can't read the disk.
If it is a CD (or if your drive can read DVDs) then it is probably a write error on the disk's file table. You will have to acquire another disk from the artist. :/
I still want to see if the disk will read on a other desktop. Or laptop.
