Reminds me of a documentary I saw recently called "The Invisible War" about the very serious problems regarding rape suffered by members (mostly women) in the military, why it's so rampant in the military, how it keeps getting covered up, and what the victims had to deal with every day (one of them continues to have lasting pain and physical damage requiring corrective surgery but has been denied VA benefits). It was extremely depressing and horrifying but the nasty side has to be shown for things to get better.

Man, that's a whole other can of worms. The US military has some *serious* cultural issues.

Yes they do. Which is part of the reason why I ultimately decided against joining it.
