well after finally finishing the 4 month application process, physicals, physical agility tests, multiple interviews, etc. today is finally my 1st day at my new firedept!! I am now a full time operator/firefighter. so not only do i fight fire but i drive the firetrucks and operate them outside at calls. i am now at a normal firehouse with full crews and normal 24hr shifts.

i am assigned to station 33 and will find out my truck assignment today as well as get my gear, new uniforms, badge, etc.

I am now the happiest husky in the world and my childhood goal has finally been reached. i will post updates as the day continues and will post pics tonight.
