First off I apologize for my absence, I've been preoccupied and really haven't been around the clubs much.
I don't enjoy graphic nudes, I'm fine with tasteful nudes, I love boobs and hips and all that fine stuff. But for me... I hate porn. My feelings are that sort of intimate pictures or acts should be shared only between two lovers, too see those sorts of things shared is a put off to me. I'm one of those guys that views dating/courting as a slow process, granted I've never been 'with' anyone, but my mindset is to take things slow and get to know someone before deciding to be intimate with them. I don't want to get into her pants asap.
The rules are slightly different in the furry world. Nothing is real :( Our fursonas are projections of ourselves or who we want to be. Some treat their characters as if they were living beings, staying loyal to their mates furnsona, others will shag up to any orgy that'll take them. It's like my fursona Logan and his mate Jennifer. She doesn't exist irl, she's everything I desire in a mate. I stay loyal to her and never get adult art done because I don't enjoy it.
The difference between irl and the fandom is we can choose how attached we are to the situation, since we're not actually doing said act. We can choose to leave our morals at the door, put on the mask of a fursona, go nuts in the club, then leave and resume our everyday lives... it's not "I just gave a BJ", it's "my fursona gave a BJ", while irl we may have felt dirty or guilty afterwards, we can detach ourselves from our fursonas and choose how close we want to be to them. "My fursona gave a BJ.... meh, that's kinda hot....." so while you may have hated doing it yourself irl, you can choose to move away from your fursona doing it until you're at a comfortable distance to enjoy it.
Forgive me if this doesn't flow very smoothly, I've had a hard last few days and am not firing on all cylinders :/
So what's your opinion on nudity? To what extent are you comfortable viewing? Does it differ irl vs online?
* I did refer to females for my example as I am straight, but this journal is ment for whatever sexual preference you have.
** No offense to people who enjoy giving/recieving BJs, I just needed a sexual act that the masses would know of

Okay, I really like it, but I'm not making a big deal about it. XD You really have to know me for a long time to know that =P
Nudity is a yes. I like it, I will look at it, I will appreciate it, in more than one ways.
After that, online, I don't mind nudity and porn. That's what the internet is for =p
For RL, I'm with you, it's intimate and taking it's own pacing.
It's the way we enter the world and it's naturally.
Part of the reason why we see so much cybersex going in the fandom is that the majority of us are young and inexperienced and are merely testing their sexuality like that. For example, :erumatien/icon: used to paw off but has stopped because he grew out of it.
I agree with Orithan in that a large part of the fandom is comprised of young and/or inexperienced people who use it as a testing ground. It is, by extension then, an important part of one's journey of discovering one's self.
In short, not only do I appreciate nudity and porn, I'd also indirectly encourage its creation within the fandom. Although there are limits and boundaries that I don't wish to cross in terms of support (cub/child porn, for example).
There's just one little hitch. Anything that is nude around me must be males only. I will not disrobe or inspire others to disrobe in the presence of a woman. I also have an extremely large collection of furry art, and as far as I know, there are no females in any of it where nudity/porn is present. Sorry if that sounds odd.
To me, it's one thing to make porn of unconnected characters, but it's another to depict your personal avatar doing stuff. Sometimes when people use their own fursona in a lot of porn, it can come across in various negative ways, like "I'm really desperate!" or "Just so you know, I'm getting a lot of sex!" or "Look at all the weird fetishes I participate in!" or "I'm a total sex god, you should really consider fucking me!" This can be especially weird if you hang out with the furs in question IRL and don't really want to picture their sex lives.
In contrast, unique characters don't carry any of that personal baggage along with them, so you're free to interpret the picture however you like, which to me, is much hotter.
Anyway, it's not something I'm angry or up in arms about, and I respect people's right to post whatever they want. This is just my personal preference, and your post got me thinking about it.
Anyway, personally, I like nudity, except human nudity. I find the human body to be extremely unappealing, which is weird considering that I find anthropomorphic creatures appealing. I guess someone has to be morphologically sufficiently non-human before I can stand seeing it nude.
Anyway, that's just me.
