really just wisconsin dells.
Are fireflies a special thing just found up here? I see them every now and then in the tall prairie type of grass.

I'm going up there to work with two clients, so I'll be all alone in the evenings. Have to give myself stuff to do or I'll be very lonely. I like exploring new places, too.
Fireflies are not unique to Wisconsin, they just aren't really found west of Kansas, and I've never been east of Kansas during the summer months to see them before. It's one of my lifetime goals.

Madison is just a cool city to hang out in. Lots of great restaurants/bars, etc... it's a college town after all :P Wisconsin Dells is definitely touristy and kitschy as all hell, but worth it just to see. The Dells themselves are beautiful, sort of a canyon along the river. You can take boat tours of it. There's a nice rails-to-trails path near Tomah, in Sparta I think. Nice views of hills, fields, etc. And it has a tunnel!
Umm, let's see.. There are furmeets in Appleton, though I'm not sure how often they are or if they are a regular event. Have fun! :D
