Playing Nintendo's E3 games and holidaying

So today has been interesting! It's been a cool experience. Early this afternoon, I took
Royyy with me and we flew to Vancouver to have a mini-holiday together for the weekend :3 I have to be here for work on Monday and Tuesday anyway, so it worked out well. We've been relaxing, seeing the city and generally being Pokemon in a big city =p.
One thing of note that we've done is go to the local Best Buy here and try some of Nintendo's demos as announced at E3. We got to try the new Super Mario Cats (3D World), Mario Kart 8, Wind Waker HD and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. They were all pretty great! I think that MK8 looked the best and felt super polished, even for a demo. The controls were good, for both the Wii remote and touchpad controller. I really liked DKC:TF though, I played co-op with a stranger and we beat the hardest level together totally fine (we worked together well!). The "new dynamic camera system" gave some great views while playing without frantically panning around like in the classics to keep up with being fired from barrels and stuff too, so yeah. Awesome~
We were all given a medal too, celebrating the year of Luigi and his 30th anniversary. Might take a photo and upload it to my scraps later, it's really cool :3
If anyone else got to play these games too, let me know, I'd love to talk about it!
