So, I've officially started something today, which I'm calling "500 Words." Basically, I'm going to produce 500 words a day, five days a week. Every two weeks, I'll put the ten I've written up for a vote of which one's the best. The one that people actually like will get expanded to five times it's size, 2500 words, which I'll work on the weekends to do. Then, after there's ten 2500 word chapters, I'll put those up for a vote, where the best gets expanded to 12,500 words (which will probably stop production for a little bit). Much, much later, I'll have ten of those, and with a final vote...well, I'll novelize the winner.

Basically, I want to practice, and I'm hoping to use Sturgeon's Law (90% of everything is crap) to make a novel that isn't complete crap. I hope you follow along, and vote and comment and cheer the good ones. Here's to the journey of a thousand steps started.
