First installment (or not)

Nonsense following.
Hello,
I was thinking, of all the people whom I'm stalkering here on FA some put up thoughtful journals. Some are very professional and use this particular feature to communicate sensible information about their artistic work, such as when something will be finished, what the artist is working on at the moment, and so on and so forth. Others use the journal to divulgate events or peculiar happenings.
Since I've never kept any sort of diary to speak of I suppose I could make it up here. Or not. I don't know I guess journals are that part of furaffinity most neglected.
Dear diary, today I studied all damn day.
Dear diary, I wish I could just go back to Guardamonte and dig, but first I have to study coins. Damned, damned greek-roman coins.
There's a type of roman token, the "Spintria", the function of which is not totally clear. These small round brass token depict on the obverse sexual acts, and on the reverse a number between I and XVI. It's been hypothesied that these could be used in brothels instead of the normal coin, due to the fact that it was strictly forbidden to enter brothels or latrines paying with coins depicting the effigy of the emperor. The number on the reverse would represent the amount of assis the token would be worth of sexual service.
I can't help imagining a guy walikng up to a bar, presenting the aforementioned token, and the man behind the counter shouting "A seven for the customer!" or "Who's ordered a fourteen?"

Especially when you learn something new with them! I didn't know that the "spintria" existed, and I find the fact quite amusing 8D
Our society had forgotten lots of useful things
-Sir, here's the special menu, you've asked for.
-Uuumh. Yeah. I'd like that number nineteen with all of the additions, please.
-Excelent choice! I'll have it served in a matter of minutes...
I actually thought about it, if they brought you a key to the room with meal...
