The Last of Us Review Completed

Sooo all I can really say is wow.. just wow... my hearts still not sure how to respond to that end.
Now onto breakdown and opinions
AI = A+: Honestly. Some of the best AI design I've ever encountered in any game. Alot of games advertise enemies will flank you. But lets just say you hardly ever feel like you know where the enemy is going to come from often times hitting your flank and rear if you're not on your toes just a tip of the AI design. Also love how your companion generally is never in your way at any point. Thank you so much for that Naughty Dog.
Environments/Setting = A There may be some games like crysis 3 who have extremely good looking models and such but I gotta hand it to Naughty dog for bringing there post apocalyptic style environments and the overall game setting to a fresh and breathtaking level. I often found myself staring at the fauna and outdoors pieces, A very astheticly pleasing game.
Length = B I will say the game isn't as incredibly long as some but its ample enough to give you at least 8 hours of solid uninterrupted gameplay (my playthrough registered at 14 hours but I also looked under every rock I could find for gear)) and I personally have no issue wanting to replay the game again for a second playthrough on the final difficulty level having beat it first time through on hardcore.
Weapons/equipment = B I really really liked the assortment of gear and how you could keep it equipped. And the upgrade system at least in my opinion made really good sense in the setting used. I particularly liked the consumable crafting like making your own medkits and molotovs (which are amazing)
Story = A++ I mean this is why you get this game. The single player journey is fraught with twists and turns that are really non-cliche in my opinion I've played a great deal of games and I gotta say both my livestream viewers and myself were constantly being thrown for a loop so kudos to Naughty dog and there writing on this on for keeping things fresh.
Enemy variety - B I mean the variety was pretty good but I would have loved to see a few more different types of infected maybe even some feral wild life like a bear of some wolves. As you do trek in the woods here and there.
Cons
Promptly dialogs a bit to easy to miss (only a bit though) I gotta say as much as I loooved the story. I felt that some conversations that you could interact with with prompts contained to much of teh story in them at times and if you ran through an area to fast you might miss some of them and miss out on the very nice dialogues you have throughout the game.
Ammo - Now this isn't really a con persay but rather a warning to those players who like to run and gun full auto. I can't say for sure on other modes but at least on Hardcore difficulty. Ammo is sparse, and you don't really carry much of it at any point in the game often having to rely on melee and pseudo stealth when possible. I personally like it as it gets you to think out different ways.
Clickers - Now I wont get into detail on what these are, But I will almost promise you. They will annoy the shit out of you at certain points in the game and make you sad. >.<
ONLY ON THE PS3 - kay I gotta say this cause it is definitely my biggest beef with the game. I sorely wished I could of bought this on my PC its such a terrific game it should be on every system imho. And if you do own a PS3 you owe it to yourself if you love gaming to any degree to give this game a shot.
Final rating would be a 9.5/10 A must own or at least try for all those PS3 owners out there. Props to Naughty Dog for really closing out this generation of games with such an epic portrayal of what can be done with current gen.
As always I'm eager to hear your thoughts and if this was helpful :3
