As for websites, Enjin is a very good Minecraft Server Website to use. It's fairly easy to work with and design.
It also has some nice premade templates until you make your own themes. c: It's free unless you want premium.

I run my own Minecraft servers and use Wordpress as well. (Hell, I even paid for their overpriced domain service x3) I use the Twenty Eleven theme. It's not the flashiest out there but it's very clean and functional. The large image header is quite good when putting in Minecraft screenshots and the like.

I haven't really gotten the /help command to work on the server, nor understanding permission doors, any word on that?

I'll update the help command, because it is built into Essentials, the help command lists every single command, which is useless to you guys, as you can only use a small fraction of the commands (mainly for admining and the such).
