So this was kinda supposed to be a happy day due to my step-brother graduating high school. My mom wanted to stay home because she was feeling ill I believe, and then later started to feel Ginger's time was coming due to how she has been acting as of late. So.... When we got home, my mom decided it should be the time to go in and get her euthanized, so she will no longer live on and suffer through the struggling she appears to be going through every day, such as trouble standing, getting up, dementia, standing in one spot forever like she is clueless, etc.

Ginger was 7 when we got her, I believe. She was ~14 when we put her down today. This was my first time witnessing euthanization, and the second major pet death I had in my life. When I was watching them inject her in the leg, it felt like I got smashed right in the stomach with a tidal wave of emotions. I took it pretty well, though. I mean, she is in a better place now, no longer suffering.

R.I.P., Ginger. I love you very much, despite how much I always yelled at you and got very frustrated because you were annoying me. I still always loved you.
