Although I've already noticed all my current commissioners, I'm "copy/pasting" here:
On the last days I got a nasty inflammation known as "whitlow" (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/ask_the.....whitlow.shtml) on the nail groove from my left mid-finger, just on the hand I use for drawing. The damn thing hurts as hell, and in such, I'm unable to draw for a while. :(
I've finished the linework of some commissions before this 'incident', and luckly I'm still sort of able to coloring these pics (slowly, using a mouse). However, for those who were waiting, I needed to send a notification about my current condition.
I 'really' hope to return on the next weeks, but at the moment I'm sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you for the patience.

I love the playful, energetic quality you manage to put into characters' expressions, by the way.

I also use my left foot to play soccer. Well.. at least when I used to play it, several years ago. :P

Just dip your finger in lemon juice, that'll help..... NO WAIT! I was kidding!! ^^;
But my prob turned into 'serious business' level. It wil probably need a micro surgery to remove all the crap inside it. :/
What I usually do is bite or cut the damn thing and get it over with. It may hurt...hurt so much that you cry, but it is damn well worth taking the pain and a speedy recovery.
How long has it been there, since you noticed it?
I tried self medication on these days, but at now my prob looks really bad. So, I'd prefer to keep the job to a doctor.
Trust me on this, my mother is a nurse, made an A in Anatomy class so I have medical wisdom.
Clearly only one thing t'do! Bionic hand for you! Just be careful you don't get one that wants to take over the world.

Whatever. I'm already taking an antibiotic by the doc's prescription. Today I'm feeling a little better.
Coisa mais estranha que tive com dedos foi mesmo unha encravada, a 'podóloga' que me tratou era muito faca na caveira, arrancou um pedaço da unha que estava encravada com uma ferramenta que parece meio alicate de unha, no seco, sem anestesia. Fui a vênus e voltei hahahahaha!
Putz, lamento pela sua unha, cara. A minha pelo menos não encravou. :P Já me receitaram uns antibióticos, e... vamos ver se eu sobrevivo a isso, hehe.
Naquele dedo que tive a unha encravada, a podologa receitou neobacina e rifocina. Usava a neobacina com um palito de dentes limpo e um pedacinho de algodão esterelizado, sujava com essa pomada e enfiava literalmente no buraco da unha, depois dava acabamento com rifocinha. Cicatrizou bem rapido :)

I use that and it work wonders. It's an antibiotic ointment and whitlow needs some antibiotic to be treated. good luck
