I used to see my world as colorless and dull,
Light was all dim, and wind with no vim.
Oblivious to the beauty that surrounded my skull,
Vivid colors muted, and thoughts polluted.
Everything changed the night that I met you,
You recharged my being, and sent the sadness fleeing.
Overtly I want it known that to you I am true,
Updated are my dreams, and all about us it seems
