This is an unexpected surprise!

So I was calling a band friend, making sure he knew when practice starts for marching band, and he asked me if I wanted to be in a band he's forming... That was kind of a shocker (in a good way ) He wants me to be the drummer. At the time I was thinking WTF why me?!?!?!?! It was just a surprise, that's all. I've never actually been in a band...
Anyway, right now, I'm thinking about saying yes. It might be fun! He said that him and a friend (also in marching band, so he's my friend too) were playing classic rock songs at a small donut or candy shop and someone said they sounded really good and they should form a band. So now he wants me to be the drummer. I don't know.... Right now, I'm just waiting and seeing what happens.

Because why the hell not?
I went to this honor band back in February, and signed up for battery. But when I got there, they put me on all mallets for all of the songs. But hey, I didn't complain, because we played a Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End medley, and the glockenspiel part was amazing!
