Yeah, so, I think my new major will be engineering.

Yes, engineering, I shit you not. Mechnical Engineering to be specific. There seems to be a high demand for it where I live, and awhile back, I remembered my career aptitude test in high school suggested engineering. I'm, in my opinion, more than decent at math and creative enough to be a good problem solver. I think-- I hope.

However, I have to admit, I'm scared. This isn't a common knowledge field obviously, and as I'm looking through the job requirements for Mechanical Engineers, I'm getting slightly more nervous. I plan on speaking to my college adviser more on the major itself and how well it prepares you for the actual transition to the field.

I'm also nervous that I'm going to get myself in a massive amount of debt only to find out that I don't particularly like the major. So, wish me luck? Haha. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

My first semester back will be general education courses just to get adjusted and think this over more.

o-o Hm. For all I know, my mind could change about this within the next month or so. I kind of am hoping this one sticks though.
