7:30pm July 3rd 2013. I lay my pup to rest as he passed away, his final barks, and final dream are all we have to remember him. running in his sleep, yelping as he took his last breath, and with eyes wide open staring off into nothingness. I kiss the top of his head and craddle him in his favorite bed with my hand over his eyes to shut them. but they won't close easy. wrapped up in fluff and into a box, I say my goodbyes for the puppy that changed my life forever.

I love you, I miss you, you will always be in my heart. never going to forget you and your battle. the vets only want money, they didn't care to tell us what was wrong, there was more than just your joints and legs, the meds they put you on ate your stomach and you bled internally..pooped runny for days, dehydrated...I did my best to hydrate you and it worked yesterday but come this morning you were WORSE, laying in your own bloody stool and bloody vomit.

I had thought about smothering you so you wouldn't suffer but I couldn't, instead Peaches your mother rest with you until your passing moment. now she stalks the kennel and looks for you and cries for you..just like the rest of us. be safe my little trooper, come back in your next life and live again...I'll always love you.
