UKfursSo recently there's been talks both to a couple of friends and to myself [I tend to do that] about a new comic project. So I've thrown together a little survey that I'd like people to fill in so that I can shape this new project properly in my head before I go and draft. It's not a requirement of course, but it'd help me a great deal to know what people think and advise. And anyone who does the survey that reads the comic can look on it and say "I had a part in that." So, if it's no trouble to you, please take a few minutes to either copy and paste the questions and your answers as a reply or simply number your responses. Alternatively; just lob suggestions at me. Thanks for your time! I hope you all enjoy what I'll be cooking up!
Survey!
1- What genre would you like to see the most out of a comic by me?
Action? Adventure? Drama? Mystery? Slice-of-life? Horror? Comedy? Other? [Please tell me what if your answer is Other]
2- What theme would you most like to see?
Fantasy? Sci-Fi? Modern? Steam Punk? A mix of two? Other? [If A mix of two or Other, do tell]
3- If you know any of my currently created characters, who is your favourite/would you like to see them in this project and why? Or should I create new ones?
These characters could be Shira, Krash, Andi or Alyth just to name a few. [Good god, I need more male characters]
4- Should I have guest appearances? Cameos or even main character parts filled by other peoples' characters or fursonas?
Yes or No but please say why
5- How many characters should there be in it-ish [For the main parts at least]
Please say whatever number you reckon fits but do be sensible about it.. Or be completely arbitrary about it. Your call
6- Should there be graphic scenes of adult nature? Porn, basically.
Again; Yes or No and why
7- How long should a comic project be?
A few pages [1-5]? A fair size [6-10]? Quite big [11+]? A Web Comic that goes on as long as it needs to? Other? [Please say what]
8- How often would you like to see pages from a comic uploaded?
The whole comic at once? Every few days? Once a week? Other? [Please say]
9- Where should I upload it?
Everywhere? Just on FA? Just on SF? Just on Inkbunny? Get a website? Other? [Please say what]
There would have been a 10th question but for my first complete comic project I would never do it anyway so it doesn't much matter at this stage.

2. I vote sci-fi just because I'm a sucker for that genera.
3. Kara! C: From you and in general, she's in my top five most interesting characters ever.
4. I can't really vote that way. Might be interesting, but people can be annoying. Your call there.
5. Depends on the legnth, but probably shouldn't be more thst three or four. The plot could start to get confusing then.
6. Porn is nice, but only if it fits the story. Sorry I can't give a better answer.
7. I say web-comic, but this is coming from a writer. Words are easier than panels and colors, but legnth also gives you time time to flesh out a story.
8. If you do a webcomic, once a week. It gives you time to work both on the comic and on other things if you need too.
9. FA, SF and Weasyl. I think IB has too much of a different sort of view to be worthwile to upload. IMHO.
On the off you need help with the story or plot, I've got quite a bit if experince mucking out plotlines. Otherwise, good luck. :3
2. I know it's a genre not used often, but science-fantasy is what I like best...where you might see sword-wielders and magic-users on spaceships.
3. I think any characters could fit in it.
4. That could be interesting, but if it's not suitable to your comic...don't do it, just use your own characters.
5. I wouldn't say more than 5 major characters...5 is suitable to any story that would have teamwork, but at least 2 characters are probably more necessary.
6. I'm not big on adult art and can be really picky on what adult stuff I tend to view...I'd prefer not, but I would read it if the porn is relavent to the story.
7. I think you should do as many pages as it needs to be to tell the story you want.
8. I wouldn't mind any upload rate...I'd view it when it got posted.
9. I am only on FA, but I think you should upload it whereever you have a following/viewers.
Science-fantasy is definitely an awesome choice, I've been a fan of that since way back when I was playing Star Ocean so it's definitely something I'll consider ^^ Plus LAZER SWORDS!
