I was excited before my flight here, but when I got here...I thought I had made aBIG mistake. There were so many furries and you can easily get lost between the Westin and the building where the convention was held (and the maps and pamphlets don't help much either). I finally got to meet
and his mate for the first time and they're both very sweet (and also well-prepared) but I felt like a stranger among friends. I started questioning myself: what am I doing here? Why did I come here? Am I really furry? Was being one, in my case, a phase that I quickly got over? Everything BUT fun was on my mind last night. I turned in early with Rath. We had both been up early the previous morning...and I had to sleep in the clothes I had on because my bag had been on another plane and I wouldn't get it back until between 11 pm and 3 am. Can only hope that I can be calm enough to enjoy myself the next day. Oh, and Happy 4th of July.
