Some thoughts

Doing ALOT of cooking and cleaning today... Sadly... Most of it is boxed food and not from scratch.
But I always see it as, work with what you have, make it healthier, add your own twist.
Today we had Mac N Cheese. So I added polish sausage and made greenbeans to go with it.
Also making Cherry chip cupcakes with chocolate marshmellow frosting. Thinking of adding some fresh cuts strawberries on top. Just to dress them up a bit.
I have to clean out the fridge and do all my cooking today because of the heat that is on it's way back in. Don't want to be heating up the house by cookin all this food when the heatwave strikes.
Lots of creative cooking, laundry, and cleaning.
But later this week I'll be doing some arts and crafts.
I'll take plenty of pics.

We put the roosters into a cat box overnight to stop early morning crowing so our neighbours aren't bothered by them. We release them in the morning and they dash outside to have breakfast, a quick shag with a favourite girl then they crow.
If you would like to see some of our chickens my mate
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11048258/ This is a vast majority of them having their lunch. The white ones with black collar are Sussex pure breeds; black with white flecks are Anconas; Plain white are leghorn crosses; Two reds (one with her bum facing us and the other next to the chick) are Road Island Red Crosses; The chick is next to it's mum...the chicks dad is the grey with white speckle rooster with his head down munching on bran; the small black is a bantam called BabaYaga and the multi-coloured rooster is Spice/Spartacus (Spice is his baby name). Ironically he is the son of the grey speckled rooster and road island red hen. He's bigger than his dad and for the moment they co-habit well together.

Good on you for using your time wisely in hot weather. I do the same here in our summer. I also do a lot of microwave cooking in summer as this doesn't heat the kitchen up and salads can form the bulk of the sides easily. I'm lucky in that I can cook in hot weather as I have air-conditioning that keeps the heat down but I try not to overuse it. The other trick I do is to use my slow cooker as it doesn't overheat the area too much and can be set up outside if necessary.
