Yo from RoPo!
COMMISSIONER'S NOTES:
Hello, FBA Fans!
SUPER sorry about missing tonight's episode of CSL. :( No serious issue! Just got called into a late meeting at work, and of COURSE it ran long. I was hoping I could get the game started at 8pm, but sadly, I didn't make it home until 9.
Tomorrow I have a family engagement in the evening, so I won't be able to host CSL then either, so our next episode will be scheduled for this coming Thursday!

With the game scheduled to be featured on FBA Courtside: LIVE!, fans lifted homemade signs welcoming T. Matt Latrans (Coyote) and Patrick Suarez (Jackal) to Sturgis Stadium, but when a cancelled flight prevented T. Matt from making the trip to Rapid City, those fans sadly lowered their signs. Still, they got a heck of a game.
With Rocky Caracal (Lynx, SG) leading the charge, the Edmonton Totems had a simple game plan. Hit 'em from the woods. Chainlink was dazzling, connecting on 5 of 10 from outside, and while Sanford Teeson (Raccoon, PG) failed to connect on either of his 2 attempts from downtown, he launched enough dimes to buy a churro from the vendors, double-doubling on the night with 13 assists. That led to an early lead for the visitors, who went up 26-20 by the end of the first.
But then the Bikers cleaned up. Buck Hopper (Rabbit, PG) had as much luck as Teeson from the woods, but also double-double with 10 assists on the night, racking up 19 points which remarkably feels like he was holding back in this game. Ryan Malone (Kangaroo, SG), on the other hand, did not as the boomer did nothing short of going Matrix with 16 of 19 buckets going down and crushing dunk after crushing dunk being thrown by his golden paws. With Jack Wayans (Black Labrador, PF) also dominating the kennel basement, the Bikers didn't care about only hitting 1 of 8 attempts from outside [courtesy of Blythe Nacht (Red Fox [silver phase], G)]. A punishing second quarter was followed by two more where the home team led, ending on a crushing 111 points to top Edmonton's 97, giving Dakota a 2-0 lead in the series as they prepare to fly to Alberta.
Ryan Malone won player of the game honors with 34 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocks.
And that's a swish.
