I am currently working on revamping my old price guide with new examples and prices.
It is your LAST CHANCE to follow up with me on any old quotes or to request a new one. As of midnight tomorrow (July 12th / 12 am) you will be required to contact me for a new quote even if we had discussed one previously and all new quotes and commissions will be subject to my new price guide, which I will post tomorrow as a new journal that will be linked in my profile.
I posted a warning about this literally a month ago hoping that would give folks time if they needed it to get things together if they wanted to follow up on an old quote, so please don't hate me. .____. I am not doing this to be an ass or because I want to make it harder for anyone to commission me if they'd like to, it is only because this is my only job/source of income and as of now I am simply not charging enough to live on properly. Please understand.
As a head's up and a bit of a preview, my commissions now will basically start at a MINIMUM $45 for custom work at all, no matter how simple your character is. $45 will be the new base price for a small/one-color simple plush of any style. All of my other prices will be increasing from there depending on size and complexity.
PS: I am also basically settled in again after Anthrocon so things should be picking up again as normal!

Honestly, you're making a luxury item, not a necessity. There is *nothing* at all wrong with charging a high price for a luxury item. You are not depriving the poor of a need when you price your plushes out of their reach. And since you yourself kind of *do* need to eat, and pay rent, and all the things that this money will go towards, I think it goes the other way around. It would be immoral to *not* raise your prices, if your prices as they are now aren't providing enough for you to live on. Needs trump luxury wants.
