I'm rather new here, myself! Well, kinda - I made my account a year and some ago, but didn't start actually using it until a couple months ago...!

...I've been horrible about keeping my DA up-to-date, actually, so I'm in a similar boat as you? Maybe? Um, otherwise, I've got myself a temporary job at my father's place, and have been working 14 hour days, 7 days a week, with little pay. Whooh!
Actually has gotten me into a regular sleep schedule, finally, so I'l be ready to take on the world when it's over =D

I made an account on here years and years ago but I was afraid to use it, haha. Then I noticed a lot of my friends on dA are on here so I thought I'd give it another shot and here I am! The only problem is I just keep forgetting it exists, haha. I'm better at keeping dA up to date, not much better, but at least I haven't forgotten about it yet!

That's a lot of time to be working, how come you're getting so little pay? Is it because it's your father's business? I was in a similar position (ish) last year when I worked for my brother. I did seven hours a week and got £5. Often it went into overtime because my brother was very heavy with his weekly workloads and I wouldn't get paid for the extra hours, so I can sort of relate to you there. Families tend to use 'family' as an excuse to give less than they normally would. But at least you've got a good sleeping pattern, that's always a good thing!

I've been fine, haha! I'm seeing my boyfriend tomorrow for the first time in two weeks for three nights before he spends two months in Abu Dhabi with his family, so I'm rather looking forward to that. Other than that there's not been much happening except trying to do the difficult task of establishing my name as an artist online, so it's all fun on my end, haha.

I'm honestly a bit intimidated by DA, to be honest! It seems so, um, big...!

It's not exactly 'little pay,' - it's just that I don't get to see the money, really, as it's taken by my father. The business isn't his - it's a screw factory, and my father and I work as IT people. I'm only here temporarily to help my father set up brand-spankin' new systems in an equally spankin' new building, as we just moved our main plant. Erm. Only plant.

Aye, establishing one's name as an artist online seems pretty difficult...! Not having much luck on my end with that, either - but I'm more of a hobbyist (?) anyways.
...plus I'm too shy to post many things.

Aww, I can understand that! It's not so bad, though, it's easy to make friends and things.

Ah, okay, so you're more sort of voluntary whereas your dad is the person working? Do you get any of the money you both make?

Hi hi :D I've just found you on the front page for your recent submission. How are you feeling? I'm just chillaxing and eating all of the cakes ever cuz it was my brothers' birthdays yesterday.

Haha, hi! I'm okay, thank you, sitting and waiting on whether I'll get a message from my boyfriend any time soon to say whether he'll be in the country so I know when to go meet him. Not that I know where I'm going to be meeting him, but I'm trying not to worry about that, haha.

Ohhh, I want cake! Is it birthday cake? If so, that's the best kind of cake!

That must be a pain in the bum, I hate not knowing things and having to wait, I'm super impatient. It is birthday cake :D My aunty made toffee, jaffa cake, peanut butter & chocolate and plain chocolate cupcakes AND two huge peanut butter & chocolate and plain chocolate birthday cakes. So much foodddd. I've nearly had one of every type of cupcake for breakfast, oops :O

Yeah, it's a wee bit annoying, haha. I'm unsure of when to get ready or when to leave. Oh gosh, you're making me feel hungry! That sounds like the yummiest birthday food ever! I'm so jealous right now. ;-;
