Some people are perfectly able to do menial things for hours on end. I am not one of those people. After a couple of hours of picking things up, and putting them down somewhere else, I'm braindead. I need stimulation! It wouldn't be that bad, but I'm not allowed to wear earphones. Sure, there's a CD player, but the conversation went something like this:
Boss: bring whatever music you like, we're not picky
me: coolies! *brings variety*
Boss: *turns off anything that isn't ACDC after 5 minutes*
I have nothing against ACDC, but I'm getting sick of the same CD, all day every day.
On top of that, my contract said that I'd be spending 8hrs a week making fruit trays n shit. I'm so good at keeping shelves full that they won't LET me do anything except stock shelves. I like making trays T-T
