Welllllll, instead of cutting two long pieces to turn into loops, you can cut one long piece you would normally make one loop out of, and cut that into two. Sew one side of the cut piece to the top where you would usually sew the loops, but instead of looping it back around to stitch the other side in the same place, pull the piece down so the other side that isn't sewn is down further on the underside of the tail and sew that side there. Repeat with the other piece beside it. (two belt loops are better than one!)

aaah that really didn't make any sense XD I tired looking for pictures to help show you, but it seems most people use the method you're already doing and there isn't any photos anywhere I can find of what I am talking about :/

But this method I just told you works great. you can't see the belt loops under a body suit like you can a bit with the method everyone else uses XD

yes! :3 except it would be smarter to use white elastic, not black on the white like they did in that picture.

Oh yes lol all I have is white elastic:3, but thanks for explaining how to do it because I searched everywhere online ad couldn't find a tutorial on it, I heard its better to do them like this because the tail hugs the belt rather than hang from it making it more sturdy so it won't fall over and stuff:3, because I made a new husky tail pattern and its like massive now lol and I don't want it falling over :3

Some people use fur loops instead of elastic straps. Placement wise, I don't know of another way.

I've never seen the fur loop one before, but like I want to know how to do one like this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11018405/ see the belt loops are laying flat on the tail, but the tail I'm making now is a large husky tail that ill have to close up by seeing fleece over the opening, but once I do that would I just sew the elastic flat down over the fleece?

All you would have to do is sew each end of the elastic into the tail. Cut 2 small holes on each side of where the elastic is and sew the holes up with the elastic inside the holes. You'll wanna turn the tail inside out when you do that, then turn it right side out and stuff it and sew the stuffing hole up.
