I was never a fan of Dragonball, but it had some decent stuff to it. Now this is just wrong, so very wrong.

If they ever do something like this to Evangelion I think I'm just going to grow a brain tumor.

I don`t think that ther`s something like that sayan saga or the genkidama. I just heard that there`ll be piccolo, and I could imagine a Kamehameha too.

I have no clue about what to say about this trailer. It`s a complete nightmare!!!
Muscle cars, a piccolo that looks nothing like him, a Bulma with long brown hair that can fight, and who is that Mai anyway? I don`t think that I`ll watch this film, since it doesn`t seem to resemble the anime/ manga in any way!
Why can`t the big film makers of today try something brand new in a pretty exact style like the anime was? That would be something!
I know it`s all about the cool pictures and catching as many viewers as possible, but man, before I`m ruining such a good old series, I better let my hands of it from the start!

First of all your right they did get the the way the characters look wrong.

Secondly it looks like they left about seven people out of it that are some of the other main characters in DB

And third Mai is one of Emperor Pilaf's henchmen and her partner's name is Shu,and little anthro fox in a ninja suit.

Its a shame that they seem to be leaving out all the furry characters in DB such as Shu,Oolong,and Puar

Oh, now I get it. I had no clue anymore that this girl was called Mai, but I have no clue why they put such an insignificant character in it. Probably because they had to put in more girls, which brings the film even more far away from the original.

Its bad that orginal characters were changed into shit, I think we see the latest saga of Dragonball episodes, The fight between Goku and Piccolo and the the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa

Eh, not really affected by this. Don't care, and I've been watching the Dragonball series since Toonami's debut. I expected a lot of changes. So it's not following the main Dragonball storyline, big whoop. You got to expect these kinds of movies will have a lot of changes. Seriously, I think people are just overreacting. I'll watch it. If it's good, it's good, if it ain't, it ain't. That's all I'm saying.

First off its not Dragonball Z its dragon ball. 2nd. copy and paste everything JayTanoshi said. it probibly will be crap. but ...it cant be worse than the original live action dragon ball movie. That movie was funny... and kept close as heck to the original series still sucked.

Is not based in Dragin ball Z. It is based in the first series when Goku helps bulma to find the balls, trains with roshi and fights the old piccolo (dunno his name) No saiyans, nor freeza nor nothing like that.

When I read "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep" by Philip K. Dick, I really liked the book. Then I saw "Bladerunner". Loved the music, but was dissapointed the movie was not like the above mentioned book, that it was based on. Now, years later, I realize that it wasn't susposed to be (and the fact that Philip K. Dick liked it made me rethink my position). Now I realize it's a great movie. And Hollywood did a really good job with "A Scanner Darkly", another of his books.

Wow they do have everything wrong. Ever though they have the stuff it kind of looks like it will be kind of good. It probably wont be nothing spectular but it looks 'OKAY'.

Theirs no krillin, they made Goku a white guy, and they arnt even wearing close to their original outfits in many scenes, plus they are trying to make it look like mortal combat........ and pIcclo isnt even green..... fail

It's like the Mortal Kombat movie... Hmm, it probably doesn't follow any known story, but it might not be bad...

Appearantly, the Director and writer of the movie said that everybody already knows how awesome the Dragonball series is, and that they couldn't possibly make it any better by copying it. So they decided to show Dragonball in a completely new style.
I don't care if it sucks or not. I'm paying for a ticket to see a fucking Kamayhamayha on the big screen!
