Amazing work. But very disappointed they chose to manufacture outside of the USA. This is the primary reason I wont help any company no matter how good the product is. I hate outsourcing.

I agree that when corporate greed is involved and companies are taking advantage of people in other countries its a terrible thing, but sometimes manufacturing overseas is the only way small businesses like this can afford to even make their product.

I would rather buy stuff made in America. But unfortunately int near impossible now a days.

Hehe, already making plans on what ones to get, since by selecting two pack and then a single for now will save me $10, and I'm seriously eyeballing that phoenix and Owl duo as well.

The Quetzal though does seem to fall a bit short in detail to me compared to the others on the head, and the griffon's yellow is a little to hard for my eyes - but that's just me ^_^

Hopefully this'll go through, I havent' collected figurines since the McFarlane Dragons were still out!

Oh snap, those are cool and badass. Though it's a shame they used the exact same body for all of the birds, except for having different colors and different heads.

Also noticed they gave the owl anisodactyl feet, rather than the zygodactyl feet they should have. Falcon toes are also supposed to have longer and slimmer toes.

Regardless, I'd love to get the raven one. :>

yeah I think they did it that way so the project wouldnt be crazy complicated! with the raven as the focus and the others as simply variants. not scientifically accurate, but smart from a manufacturing standpoint

Probably, yeah. But that still doesn't stop the bird nerd in me from pointing that out...like I do every time I watch Rio or Legend of the Guardians, despite the fact I love those movies.
