I haven't seen it yet, but y'know what my big issue with the premise is? If giant aliens were attacking, is...uh, there a particular reason you built the robots to fight them exactly the same size? Wouldn't it have been smarter to make them, like, 10x bigger so it would be easy t--....oh, right, because Reasons. :)

I really see no difference in the quality of movie between Battleship, and Pacific Rim. Both looked just b-movie awful in their trailers. I'm surprised Pacific Rim is finding any success.
