I'm not one for tattoos, but it sounds pretty cute. :3 How many of the games have you played?

i've played bits and pieces of all of them. :3 normally i get halfway and get bored, just like with everything else in the world. XD

Have you ever beaten one? The gameboy games are usually pretty quick, as long as you keep at it.

I don't mean to be rude, but...you haven't beaten a single one and often get bored halfway through? Why would you want to permanently mark your body with something that you don't actually seem to enjoy all that much?

it's a complicated long story. x3 feel free to TL:DR.

back when i was in high school, i used to cut like a LOT because of family drama and i had no other way to release the emotions. my boyfriend found this thing online (which i have unfortunately lost in the transfer over to the new laptop), and it basically said to draw a heart on your wrist to remind yourself you're loved. i did that for many years, and it's saved me from quite a few scars, and possible hospitalization. after he and i broke up, i started getting more and more into video games, and it was sort of a boyfriend for me until something else came along, in a way. it kept my mind busy and it kept me happy. that heart i drew on my wrist turned into a pixel 8-bit heart after a while (very similar to the LoZ heart containers). in a way, it's more of the story why i'm doing this than the actual games.

Well that makes a lot more sense to me! Much better than getting a tattoo for a video game series (even if tLoZ is amazing) because this has more meaning. Many games use hearts as life points anyway, so it has even more meaning behind that. Good job!

thank you! ^^ i kind of meant it as more of a badge of honor that i've come this far, didn't listen to my family when they said i wouldn't make anything of myself, because i've got a thriving relationship and a job with people (well some of them) that care about me. just a reminder of the little light that shone in the darkest of days.
