I think Ulyisis fragments as well, but the teaser image has me thinking more along the lines of "high atmospheric" combat.
Always thought it'd be a matter of time before Project Aces decided to reach beyond the sky.

They did that with AC3, perhaps something that comes between X on PSP and 3 with the Corperate war

Ace Combat 4, 5, 6, and Zero are some of my favorite games. If they make another real Ace Combat game, I'll be ecstatic.

I hope they go back to the pre Assualt Horizon game style when they make this new one. Just wasn't impressed with AH in the least but have always loved the previous games. Hell, even the 1st one, Air Combat.

I have all but the PS1 games and the 360 game hehe. Really hope they do return to stragereal hehe

Yeah I absolutely hated every minute of playing AH. But I seem to be in the minority there, a lot of people seemed to like it for some reason. I just thought the game was completely broken, the plot was a joke, the controls didn't work, they didn't live up to the promise of being able to use bombers since it was only one mission, the dogfighting autopilot system was gimmicky and glitchy, etc etc.

Tell you what though, one of the biggest things I'd be looking forward to is the last mission's music. I have a bunch of AC music on my music players, especially the last level music to the games (Ace Combat 6 being an exception there, I didn't care for the soundtrack to the last mission in that game). The music to Megalith still gives me goosebumps :3

I actually have the OST CDs for both 4 and 5. Love alot of the music from the games. Thank you Youtube though for having everything on there from all the games. They def do a good job on the music most of the time.

Nothing against AH's fans, but, it just didn't really do much for me.

Strangereal would make all the difference. If its gameplay had been introduced in say...a remade AC04 it would not have been a big deal
