Just saw this movie....and.... IT ROCKS! Giant robots, huge monsters, action, destruction and aliens FTW!

Good to know, man I keep hearing that either people loved it or hated it, there doesn't seem to be any middle ground, definitely would like to check it out though, that and Man of Steel as well.

I think you will be pleased with this movie. Del Toro got me out 7PM on a Tues (that's how much I respect his directing mojo). It's a fun, well done, action movie. It doesn't run too deep and that's ok with me. It's good just to let go and enjoy the show!

MUST SEE... Busy burd is busy, though. I have hella respect for G. del Toro, though, so this is a Must See.

Oh yes you MUST see for sure. del Toro is the only director that would get me out at 7pm on a Tues. night. I greatly respect his talents and attention to detail. You will not be disappointed.

Saw this on Friday (UK release) with a friend, and loved every second of it. The cinema was almost empty, but it might just be that people were going to the 3D showing instead. I can't bear 3D films; the goggles never fit properly over my glasses and I end up with a headache every time

It was the same for me, the cinema was pretty empty...but then again it was a Tues night. And I don't like 3-D either. I love the concept and it can add a lot to a movie if well done. The glasses make everything too dark though.

Yes del Toro ROCKS as a director. I'm such a fanboi. :D
