Potential Page Revival (Opinions wanted and encouraged!)

For all of our devoted fans, and prospective fans that were discouraged by the decline in activity, The Jackal Connection is proud to announce an attempt at a page revival.
The previous owner will still remain the founder of the page, but right now we are looking for volunteers from our jackal fanbase to help run the page so that we can avoid stretched of downtime in the future. We're looking for someone who can help the rudimentary tasks of updating the member list, helping us organize art and raffles, responding to questions and PMs and updating the page with Jackal facts/tidbits/images/fan art/favourites/submissions from other users. My goal is to have a group of staff on skype so that we can maintain contact through an easier medium other than FA. If anyone thinks this may be over ambitious let me know.
I'll try to put out a journal later to get volunteers for the position, but as for right now I just wanted the group to know that the hiatus is over and to prepare for some activity if all things go right. If there are any questions or suggestions or comments feel free to post them!

For instance, some simple 'check in' Journals for different types of Jackals (Anubian, black-backed, side-striped, golden, hybrid, winged, etc.) to say 'hi' on, by replying to them. That could be a better way for Jackals to say 'hi' than Shouting on the jackalconnection homepage, since the Journal replies won't get rolled off like Shouts do.
Who would I need to contact to get some very simple Journals created on jackalconnection that have titles like "Anubian Jackals check in", "Black-Backed Jackals check in", and "Golden Jackals check in" (also side-striped and hybrid)? This would give jackals some Journals to reply to when they are 'checking in' rather than shouting on the homepage.
