September 20-22nd, 2013, Meramec State Park, Sullivan, MO
I'm planning a cabin camping trip to the Meramec State Park. Currently, I am looking at a 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps 6. Registration is $50. I'll be taking registrations starting tomorrow at the BBQ.
We will need a few volunteers to drive (and split gas at the driver's discretion). Anyone who wants to help cook and whatnot would be great. I would like to split as much of the costs as possible to keep it as inexpensive as possible.
About the park:
The Meramec River flows by and majestic bluffs, dramatic caves and well groomed trails surround visitors at Meramec State Park. Swim, raft or boat on the Meramec, or explore the park on one of its hiking trails. The park’s visitor center offers a large aquarium that shows the diversity of aquatic life found at the park.
Reg covers the cost of the cabin and hopefully some food. The cabin includes linens towels and more.
