Meme time:
* Grab the nearest book.
* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the next seven sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.
* Tag five other people to do the same.
"Almost immediately Malus found a narrow game trail winding through the centre of the hollow and followed it without hesitation. Seconds later he came upon a large pool of fresh blood splashed across the trail and found a pair of large, familiar footprints nearby.
Malus settled into a crouch, breathing heavily. He'd found the spot where Spite had ambushed his pray but the damned cold one was nowhere to be seen. Nauglir, like many predators, preferred to drag their food somewhere more secure before they felt safe enough to eat. Which meant the warbeast could have gone off in nearly any direction.
A flicker of movement in the shadows to Malus's left brought him around, weapon at the ready. No one was there."
-Lord of Ruin by Dan Abnet.
Ah Warhammer books, you never get old <3
In other news, University work is keeping me busy. Inanely busy. We hand the current project in on Tuesday and get given the next assignment right after. Eep. That being said, I'm loving every moment of this, even if it does mean I'm working my ass off everyday XD
Right now I'm coming down with something though, feel like death warmed up and my throat is killing me despite the constant flow of numbing Strepsels XD
And now I've got to get back to Uni work...
