(Even though I prefer cats to dogs. If only because I am scared of large dogs ripping my jugular out. WITH MEDIUM/SMALLER DOGS, THOUGH, THE TWO ARE TIED.)

That's funny, cause my dream dog is a giant schnauzer :P I don't like smaller dogs that much because they always seem too easy to break or hurt :I

And see, I thought they were super fragile, too, buuuuut... As long as you don't have a purse-chihuahua or something, A LOT OF LITTLE DOGS ARE PRETTY HARDY. I wrestle with Raz all the time, tackling him and rolling around and etc., and it's tons of fun!
But big dogs just petrify me. 8'v I don't want to play with something that can so easily decide to deliver a bite that'd kill me. I'd rather have a dog that /I/ could accidentally hurt as opposed to a dog that could accidentally /KILL/ me.

I've always wanted a big dog that I could run around with and train to be awesome dog. Also I've always wanted another good guard dog like my old schnauzer. Giant schnauzers are really good all-around dogs, like standard schnauzers, except bigger. They were bred to herd cattle, then they became police dogs, and now they are popular family dogs cause they take good care of younger kids and are protective. Kind of like a labrador. I wouldn't mind another black lab, either. The one I had growing up never left my side as a kid and took care of me like a parent. He was such a good dog.

Also, I hate high pitched barking. Every little dog I have ever had had a high pitched bark and it's so annoying.

I do like Schnauzers as a breed! O: I've never really interacted with them, but they seem pretty chill!
Labs I really dislike, personally, but I've just had lots of bad experiences with them... I feel like they CAN be a realy great family dog, but the breed also seems to have a weird thing for suddenly turning on their families. :C But, that could just be that there's such a large number of the breed in the world that it's inevitable for percentage of them to have bad genetics/etc. that would predispose them to outbursts like that. I also don't know if they took necropsies into account, as brain tumors can cause sudden unexplainable aggression.

AND THAT'S WHY I LOVE PAPILLONS. Well-bred Papillons almost NEVER bark (I don't think Razz barked even once during my birthday party!) and, from his line in particular, they have the most MANLY FUCKING BARKS EVER. He sounds like a dog FAR larger than he is, on the rare occasion he does bark. xD If he yapped all the time then it'd reaaaaaally drive me nuts. He also doesn't bite ankles or any of that other annoying little-dog shit. FOR REAL, PAPILLONS ARE JUST A SMALL BREED LIKE NO OTHER. I really just didn't like dogs, but Razz has changed my outlook on them quite a bit. c:
