Anyone I am still friends with on FAF can feel free to contact me here.
I've met some really cool people on FAF...but I've decided its no longer healthy for me to remain on that forum.
Daily...people are ripped apart over silly petty reasons and since January I have continuously stood up to the negative attitudes and sometimes even hatred that the Elder Gods of that forum have had for people who don't view Furry as "strictly a hobby".
I have defended countless people who ended up leaving anyway because the forum felt too hostile to them. I've rebutted countless claims against people who did not deserve the level of judgement they were receiving.
I realize it is a futile effort. There are many good people on that forum...but their voices are shouted down by those who have little tolerance or compassion for anyone with a different point of view.
I've had enough of the place affecting my mood and feeling appalled at the way people are treating each other. So I'm out. Its not my fight and I can't fight it anymore.
No other furry forum is as active as FAF. I will miss the activity and the friends I made there...but enough is enough.

Alas, we shall fight on, and learn to live with one less voice of reason. We'll still talk sometimes, though, right? ^^
I wish you would stay because I always did like to hear what you had to say about certain issues.
I will never understand the urge some people on there have to cover up what they don't like or understand. I joined that forum to learn about all different kinds of furries.
It's a shame to lose you, Blue.
I always tried to consider other people's feelings...but so many people online couldn't care less how they affect other people...and FAF has quite a few very popular people who are like this.
it was getting ti the point where I was stressed in my daily life worrying about the newer members and hoping they wouldn't think ALL furries would treat them that way. But...I have to liken my efforts to that of trying to put out a burning house armed with just a cup of water.
Too bad really...I would have loved more intellectual discussions. I'm on Furtopia now...but its weird adjusting tk a new forum culture. In time, though.
Also Aleu just joined Furtopia since FAF isn't letting her back in apparently.
Out of all the people I met, there is only a handful I can stand. I will lay in bed sometimes and think about how much hostility I was shown when I first came, and it makes my blood boil to the point where I want to just leave.
Don't get me started on the whole opinion thing. It feels like if your opinion doesn't match everyone else's you are interrogated to tears.
In all honesty, the people on my friend's list I couldn't love more, but other than that everyone else is an asshole cunt with no backbone.

Furtopia eh? Good luck with disagreeing with someone on that site.... I've heard stories of the mods/rules' strictness.
I actually challenged one of the head mods on that group pretty strongly on his views..but did so without hurling mud and I'm just fine.
Also The Furry Forums are back online and a bit less restrictive than Furtopia, but still a friendly place.
I believe people can be better than they allow themselves to be. But when being cutting and harsh becomes entertaining...its hard to convince people of the effects it may be causing elsewhere.
But regardless...in time I expect TFF will rival FAF in terms of activity and so people will have their choice of which furry environment they prefer....versus the current choice of active or dead.
