I'm sorry to hear that life is going so frustratingly for you. I mean, I don't know you at all, but it's always hard to know that people are struggling. Not that I'm not struggling. But I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say.

What's the situation with losing your house? Is it a rental or does your mom own it? I've heard of ways that people get around the law, and are able to keep their houses longer, despite not being able to make payments. It's always worth Googling the laws in your area, or asking for help in forums online. If not, can you talk to the people your family owes money and tell them that you will be making payments once you get your money?

Have you considered making adult themed art? I'm sure some people think of it as prostituting your art out, but it is a way to get money. You can still use drawing porn as a way to express yourself artistically and practice your abilities. You'd have to produce a lot of work in a short amount of time, to bolster your audience, but I bet you could do it.

On the note of your depression, do whatever you can to keep your mood up. Don't let yourself give up, and keep on fighting. I know it's a lame saying that life gets better, but it does, as long as you don't give up. Try to think positive, even though it seems impossible. My fiance is bipolar, and he gets some hardcore depressive states. Sunlight, lots of water, fresh fruits, physical activity, and sexual activities all usually help with depression. Small activities, like keeping a daily journal that counts the tiny things you're thankful for, can help your brain start to think more positively over time, and help get you out of depressions.

I know we're not friends, but I do sincerely hope that your student loans come in soon, and that your life turns around. All I can really do is tell you to stay positive. And I'll post a journal telling people to come see your art. Though I don't have many watchers ^^;

Oh. Derp. Just realized that this journal was from last month. I'm a sap. Sorry if this post brought up bad memories. How did things work out?

For the most part we are capable of lasting until I graduate next year. As for the question, my grandmother owns the house and we often do a lot of work for her to compensate until one of us can get a job. I've actually been doing quite a bit later with my depression lately as well, feeling better after having some serious downtime and doing a lot of personal artwork (Which I've not posted as I don't want to reveal a lot of what I have planned for a future group haha) But as far as the money situation and home situation goes. Everything is going a lot more smoothly now than it was before.

As for adult artwork, I don't mind doing it and I know it seems the big money maker. I just find it hard for me to do adult-theme'd artwork when it's involving other peoples characters. I think it's just that feeling of "Oh god this is someone elses character what if I mess up D8" kinda thing XD Anymore I just tend to linger about and hide in the background. Though I might wait before posting about possibly taking commissions until after the 23rd when I will have new, better glasses for myself. My eyes have gotten so crappy lately that even sitting at my computer and reading text is hard unless I'm right on my monitor screen @_@

That's good :D I'm glad things are going better. I hope you're able to find more stable work soon, so that you're less stressed. And yikes, yeah, I understand wanting to wait to get some new glasses. Working on detailed stuff that your eyes struggle to focus on really hurts.

I bet you'd do great at adult art. Your anatomy is fantastic. You just have to make sure you get all the details you need, and then send previews to the commissioner to make sure you're not messing up anything big.
