firefox trouble

this week I have been having loads of problems with my firefox especially after updating my flashplayer (now I see what steve jobs hates it) and now I cannot download stories and it acts up all the time any advice

Uninstall both flash and firefox. Then reinstall firefox and then reinstall flash.
