HELLO! Firstly, I’ve loved this concept since it’s inception! When Spirit pitched this to me, I wanted to be involved. I am so honored that I was allowed to participate in the small ways that I did. My OC, Gari is the narrator, weaving the tale that surrounds this haunting film. There was a little foal, you don’t really see him too much, named Fly-By-Night, that I had a hand in designing as well as the robe that Gari wears at the beginning of the film. To see this finished just makes my day! This film was animated in a style that speaks to me, from the candle flickering at the beginning this whole thing just captivates me. It reminds me of how Don Bluth would tell a story. It is dark and haunting, yet there’s a faint glimmer of hope and peace. I am honored to have been a part of this project and I hope that everyone likes it as much as I’ve come to love it.
