Hey everyone who's still around my page...as the title says, there comes times when you just need a clean slate...and I think for me, that time is now. I've undergone many a personal shift over the past few years, and I feel that my current wolf character, Arcuro, is dated and worn. For the longest time, a fursona to me was an animal representation of who I was. Arcuro is bitter, cynical, dark, and vengeful...as I am. However the more I age, the more those traits seem ultimately corrosive and adolescent. In the name of healthy balance, I won't ignore that darkness which formed a large bit of my self-identity and tempered me in the hard-scrabble years of my life...but I do think it is time to evolve. I'm changing my fursona into a husky, named Zaro; and with him, stepping into the paws of a dog who, instead of representing the traits I possess, represents the ones to which I aspire. One who is more optimistic, keeps his eyes on the horizon, knows the value of hard work, and doesn't mind pulling the sled, so long as it's a sled worth pulling.
