A Devastating Loss
To all of my friends, watchers and commissioners.
I am aware that I might be a bit behind on a couple of commissions, trades, and requests.
Due to recent events, my priorities have been changed.
Originally I was working on moving into a new house, but even that has been put behind schedule.
Recently my family has experienced a devastating loss. My granddad passed away suddenly on July 24th and none of us were ready. Granddad was a selfless, loving, and devoted family man who gave his life to his children, spoiled his grandkids, and doted over his great granddaughter.
He never wanted reward or praise for his hard work. He was a humble man. He and my grandmother had a great part in raising me. They babysat me every weekend through grade school, and I've spent every holiday at their house - to this day - with the rest of my family, and more recently I spent just under a year living with them while granddad recovered from his triple bypass surgery. We are a close and strong family.
It's been hard for my family and I. But now the funeral has passed and the hardest part is over. At least I suspect so.
Now I can get back to business. This weekend and next weekend I will be continuing the process of moving into my new house. And once I am settled in, I will be diving back into all of my WIP's.
Thank you to anyone who has a WIP from me. You have not been forgotten.
And to those who are wanting commissions in the future, a new queue will be opened up as soon as my current queue is caught up. I will post a new journal as soon as that happens.
LOVE YOU ALL!
God bless.

Hey Elise. I know we only met for about 20 minutes, but I just wanted you to know that you have my condolences. It isn't easy to lose a family member, especially one as close as you seemed to be with your grandfather. We are all here for you if you need help and my ears are open if you need a venting buddy. See ya around!
