Get to know the Candidate
Well, I'm sure many potential fans, players, coaches, and managers may have some questions and wish to get to know the various players. So here I am putting up a little journal to give them an easy opportunity to come in, post some questions for me to answer, and hopefully get to know me as a perspective hopeful.
So Fire away! I'm sure there are many potential questions appropriate for a candidate to answer.

"Deep down, every hopeful has a team (or three) that they would like to be signed by. Care to share which ones you're hoping to join?"
Overall the enjoyment and attraction to the champions is rather well understood. The idea of playing with those players that you've watched, seen how they play, how they work together, and that certain X-factor that makes them champions and champion material. So I'd be elated to have a chance to be signed by teams like the Bikers, Typhoons, or historical champions like the Pride. In some ways though, if I did, it would be like walking among titans, proven performers, and champions. Though it isn't only their players, but their teamwork and their coaches that made them great.
Then everyone knows how fans love to cheer on the less favored team. They may not be recognized champions, but many are very tight, and show the glimmer of hope that they could, in fact, become champions. In some ways, at least, this makes them sometimes just about as attractive as the more heavily decorated teams, especially when they still hold their heads up high, in pride knowing that they have done their best. Sometimes the hope to come out from behind, unpredicted, and rise above what some may have pegged you and your team. The wildcard or Cinderella story, has it's own appeal I must admit. Even the idea of a new team that has so much potential does make it attractive, in it's own way, especially when they work hard to improve and to rise up to show that they are worthy of note and worthy of the chance. I admit, that makes it really tough to peg it down to even one or two teams in that category.
"First of all, it's a pleasure to meet you. And I'd like to ask you the following question: If you had to name one quality of your game that would stand out to your potential team, what would you tell them?"
But if I named one, it might be the way I can handle myself in the Key. I use to play a lot of street rules ball growing up before I got into High school and College hoops. I still do get out there to play a bit on the pavement when I can. You learn how to make yourself a presence when someone might just try to steamroll you to get to the basket on defense, and you learn how to get around another player when they do the same back to you. Overall though I've learned to adapt as necessary, and work to make shots where I can, even in there. I suppose it has helped me a bit to toughen up there, due to how you can get your share of scrapes and bruises in those games.
But overall, I've been working through and practicing all I can for various shots, layups, defense and such to try and make myself well rounded and not be a one trick jaguar, if I can help it. But in the end I've been working on my shooting and close up shots and dunks. Slowly working my way to a mean hook shot.
