well I have to say this has been quite a season. You deserve a break and great job to every who help make this season a great success. Let make it bigger next season.

Interesting! How exactly are the games decided?

during regular season, buck ran a program that generated game stats/results based on team/player stats. some games were "broadcasted live" through audio, where buck would voice as sports announcer t. matt latrans during "FBA: Courtside Live" events. during these, he would run an automatic play through of NBA 2K13, again with team/player stats programed in, and announce the action as though it were a real sports furry event broadcasted over radio. if you view his previous journals, you'll see both game results (PDFs for normal game engine, google doc spreadsheets for CSL games) as well as links to the recordings of the broadcasted games.

That's an interesting way to decide a game. I always felt that if the action was scripted, surely one of these years, a largely-unsuccessful team would eventually take the title. It sure seems that Dakota has won quite a number of titles; however, if each team has an equal chance, one of these years Kansas City or Santa Ana should take it.

Ugh. Lost it in the second half when nicely on course to get it to a decider. That hurts. No crazy parties with 2K this year then! Hoping they can go one better next year! Great job on the season B-Hop and Tazel, glad to have a fantastic manager for the 'Phoons. Keep up the good work, both of you!

Woah! Congratulations to the Dakota Bikers, 2013 FBA Champions of the World! I'm super sorry for tazel and the Typhoons, who performed amazingly during the whole season and fell just short of the main goal, but it's a couple of days that I feel like the Bikers winning was the right ending for the season. I mean, there is a huge lesson we can learn from the Bikers' victory, and that is we should NEVER GIVE UP as we deal with issues, just like Buck and the others did. This season was one of many lows for the Bikers: the injury of Daniel Quvianuq before the season even started, Dylan assaulting Shane Rufus and being forced to miss 20 games, and above all the team losing the Eastern Conference best record to the Voyageurs.

But they managed to overcome all this issues as a group.

Chrys Brachy and Dennis !Xabbu stepped up and managed to limit the damages caused by the absence of DQ, Dylan came back to the court as a thrashing force in what I think was the best storyline of the season (one of redemption and inspiration about a young player who faces the hardest of public lynch mobs and manages to get out of it stronger and more conscious of what it takes to be a player in the big leagues), and the Bikers overthrew the odds and beat the Voyageurs in the second round of the Playoffs.

Above all, I'm happy to see Buck and Ryan get respectively their second and third ring, as well as Chrys and Blythe helping the bunny to get it like in 2011, and Dylan, Redawn and Arturo being a concrete part of the Bikers' success in their rookie season.

I want to thank all the FBA contributors for helping to make this season a huge success, and above all, kudos to you, buckhopper, for your outstanding work as the FBA Commissioner which I think is unmatched in the whole furry fandom. Now go and relax, Buck, you've earned it! And thanks again for the greatest of the seasons! :)

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. The Bikers couldn't have done it without our awesome players, and our great head coach. It's been an amazing season, thanks to Buck for all his amazing and hard work all season.
