…fine. It’s not going away any time soon. I can either stand here holding my breath futilely like a spoiled little brat, or I can try and see if there’s a place for me in the new DCU. I started reading comics as a grubling during the Giffen/DeMateis/Hughes period of Justice League and I count them, the original run of Young Justice, and the Morrison and Waid runs on JLA as some of my favorite comics of all time, as well as the Wolman/Perez Titans that I went back and read later.. By the same token, I DO have a high tolerance for bullshit; I mean, I collected Supes during the Triangle years, after all, and count Superboy and The Ravers as one of my guilty pleasures.

HOWEVER…no Titans, no Red Hood and The Outlaws, no Superboy. I’m not ready to forgive them yet, if ever. Please, don’t argue with me on this, I’m trying to find some positives in a situation I don’t like, and the discarding wholesale of some of my favorite comics and characters still hurts. It’s immature, stupid, and I’m a lame-brained doo-doo head. I get it.

I’ve heard good things about, well, anything with “Bat-" somewhere in the title, and several of the cancelled titles have pinged positive on my radar so I might scrounge some dough for the trades.

Does anyone have any recommendations for someone looking to get back into the successor to his favorite universe?
