OMG i had no idea about almost any of these releases, except for Boards of Canada of cousre, but also David Lynch, oddly enough. 0.o

Actually I'm kind of surprised how "clean" and "clear" that EP sounded. I'm used to their recordings being super-duper raw, with the bass(es) and guitars being way too loud for the vocals and drums. Was rully kewl <3 Different for Boris, kinda. Is the new album like that, too?

A bit! Their clearer stuff is definitely some of my favorite, like on Rainbow and Mabuta no Ura. But yeah i love how their style is like, all over the place from one album to the next. Another telltale sign of their Melvins influence.
