I think it's something every open-minded person should do.. I mean, that's just what I think, though. I'm only in my own head, so!
If you do decide to do one, then feel free to come to me if you have any questions! It's really not supposed to be scary or anything! It's actually the most enlightening thing I've ever done :3
I was about to create one some time ago, but decided to not >_<. But Im curious, what metod do you used? how does it look? and what use you give to it? o.o
I'm actually glad I'm going through with it, it's turned out to be the most enlightening experience!
I read a lot of guides and looked up as much information as I could find on the Tulpainfo website. It's turned out to help my progress significantly. I've been learning how to meditate, and that's helped my progress in making my Tulpa (John). I've been using a lot of my own methods, actually. I start off by meditating for about 5-10 minutes before I visit John in my Wonderland. It helps me concentrate, and what I do to start is imagine I'm in a room with a whiteboard in front of me, and all my thoughts are on that Whiteboard, so when my mind starts drifting to other things, I just erase them from the Whiteboard. Then, I go to my Wonderland.
John is human, and he's kind of tall. He has brown shaggy hair, so he kind of resembles Sherlock Holmes.. (From the BBC show, I believe?) Just a little less intense. (Not sure if you meant, how does John look, but that's what I'm assuming you meant xD). I usually just narrate to John, as he doesn't have his own voice yet, and is not completely vocal. (He talks to me using thoughts.. It's a tad hard to explain, but basically I can just feel what he's saying) So I just talk to him about my day, about his personality and stuff like that. I'm getting better at it, but I don't even use my own voice to talk in my head, so It's been a learning experience xD
Yesterday we played Jacks, and that seemed to help a lot, because I could see him a lot better afterwords. I think visualizing is one of the most energy consuming parts of making him. It's been really awesome though!
yes I meant its physical description x3 I thought it would be one of your characters. Dont worry I understand how he communicates, I had some friends who created tulpas and they told me that if you dedicate time and patience, eventually it will talk and even you will be able to feel it physically. And I think it may even create his own voice without your help, he can become self-sufficient.
When I was trying to create mine (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10862317/) I remember that I was exhausted with the visualization x_x its a normal thing I guess...
Oh, no xD I thought about it though! And I still am, but I don't know about a Candice Tulpa just yet :3 BUT WE WILL SEE
Yeah, I've heard that too! I'm not at that stage yet, but I'm pretty excited about it. Working on the personality, or the form is actually totally optional. If you start talking to it, it'll eventually gain sentience even without all that.

I think the whole thing is a little silly, myself, but I'm not about to poo-poo on those who are trying to make it work.
I feel like this might give you a better idea of what a Tulpa is.
They're pretty damn amazing, if you ask me. I don't know what I'd do without my Tulpa, at this point.
