So I had anything but a relaxing vacation and I got next to nothing done. Ugh.
The best thing that happened on my trip was that I was able to actually go to the Great Smoky Mountains national park (my mom wasn't going to let us go because the rest of the family didn't want to go) and I went to Baltimore Estates, which is Vanderbilt's home. And the house is seriously like a small version of Versailles in Paris.
Other than that...I finished an amazing two pictures when I knew if I had time I would have been able to finish a lot more. But ya know my cousins are more of the sporty type so them also wanting to sit around doing nothing but drawing is a stretch. Especially when there's a lake a few 100 feet down steep ass steps.
Don't get me wrong I love swimming...but I wanted to get some art done.
Needless to say I still have a lot of work to do for everyone. And It will be done. Promise.

But ya, people understand that art takes time and you have a life outside of art.
(vacations are ment to be tiny breaks)

You have a point I just wish that I had been able to actually finish more than two pieces...
(They're supposed to buuut that normally doesn't happy with my family).
Thats completely understandable thats the dedicated artist in you,
you'll be able to finish then now that you're back ~

I would have to agree I love drawing and it is getting annoying that I cannot do it nearly as much as I want to.
I wish that was the case! Now that I'm back it's back to working 40 hours a week during the week days, doing something for a good three hours after work maybe, sleep to work again, and my weekends are booked until I leave for school.
(Yeeeah it does. But it's something I really should be used to by now it's just annoying).
