WelThe Forester is a no-go..
Yuuuup. the Forester I have been looking at is a no-go. it runs but.. It has the AVCS system which was never available here in 99 and only available starting in 04 on turbos only. So.. To get it running I need the wiring harness and ECU and I cannot afford that ($200 - $400 to fix).. And not gonna buy a non-running vehicle with no money to fix it. That said.. I just found a 2002 Toyota Echo. 1.5l Automatic (wish it was manual), 148k miles, 1 owner (who I happen to know), meticulous maintainence, runs and drives fine, the works for the same price.. So! It is no Subaru nor is it a sports car.. But it is roomy and gets wonderful mileage.. Perfect for the amount of driving that I do. If all goes well I pick it up Sunday sometime ^.~.^

Its a good thing that you discovered this info before you purchased the car. I'm happy that you are getting the Echo. It will be a reliable vehicle for your transportation needs and you can't really go wrong with Toyota. I've driven them for many years and never had an issue :)

It is yes x.x When new spark plugs and wires didn't fix it. And Yus^^ We are actually a Toyota family here. mom and sis both have Corollas. my dad has a 94 4x4 Pickup and I am driving my uncle's 98 corolla. I am excited^^ Has room for Brin and gets good mileage so I can actually go places! like up there to hang out xD

I had a Sequoia for 11 years, then bought a 2008 4 runner, which I had for 6 months and then was at the dealership and saw a new Black 4Runner and just had to have it. The dealer gave me back every penny that I spent on the 2008, so it made it all worthwhile!

That is badass!^^ My dad is car shopping but.. I think he should just keep his truck. My uncles Corolla has.. 247,200ish original miles on it.
